Buffalo, NY – Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson expressed concerns about the long-term viability of his and other NFL small-market teams under the new labor agreement during a meeting this week with Governor Pataki.
Wilson told Pataki he believes the Bills will be hampered by the new collective bargaining agreement approved last month.
Wilson says the agreement creates an uneven playing field between large- and small-market teams. He says player costs are the same for all teams, but that teams like his earn less in revenue than those in bigger markets.
