Sabres owner to discuss sale of team

Buffalo, NY – We will learn more about the planned sale of the Buffalo Sabres Thursday.

Sabres owner Tom Golisano and managing partner Larry Quinn are scheduled to meet with reporters at Noon today at HSBC Arena. This will be the first time they will publicly discuss the sale of the Sabres to businessman Terry Pegula.

Pegula will not be at news briefing. Hockey writer Steve Manson of the Western New York Hockey Report says the deal still needs final approval.
