Buffalo, NY – In the same week police patrols were stepped up to curb potential violence at some Buffalo schools, troubles erupted inside another school Thursday.
The Schools Superintendent's office says three male students got into an altercation at Bennett High School. According to Buffalo Teachers Federation President Phil Rumore, two teachers were injured while trying to break up the fight. They were taken to the hospital.
Rumore says Buffalo Police were not called to deal with the incident. The superintendent's office says the principal made the decision not to involve police.
The students have been suspended.
