New Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus Director Debut with Haydn's "The Creation"

By Joyce Kryszak

Buffalo, NY – Spring is finally showing signs it's coming. And to celebrate the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus and the BPO will present Haydn's powerful oratorio, "The Creation." The Chorus is also celebrating new beginnings with their new music director Brett Scott. He came on board last fall, but makes his debut Sunday on the podium at Kleinhans.

It's been nearly four years of transition for the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus, since beloved long-time director Thomas Swan passed away. But Brett Scott says it's a bright new day -- and Haydn's "Creation" is a wonderful way to express it.

The Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus will perform Haydn's "The Creation" this Sunday at 2:30 with the BPO.
