A pair of recent purse snatchings have Elmwood Village residents on alert. Buffalo Police are warning that an Hispanic man, standing around 5'8", has been identified in two incidents. The man escapes in a grey vehicle after the theft. Police recommend that women be aware of their surroundings and wear their purses diagonally across the shoulders.
