Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Sabres are home Monday night for game three of their Eastern Conference quarter-final playoff series against the Flyers.
The teams are tied at one game apiece following the series opening two games in Philadelphia.
Face-off begins at 7 p.m. at HSBC Arena.
Sabres fans will begin their own playoff excitement at 5 p.m. Monday outside HSBC Arena with the "Party in the Plaza". The event takes place on Perry Street between Main and Illinois.
The Sabres expanded the party this year. A second video screen has been added to accommodate the amount of fans who attend.
The "Party in the Plaza" includes live music, food and drinks and plenty of Sabres merchandise will be on sale for diehard fans.
Set up for the outside event begins Monday morning. Perry Street between Main and Illinois Streets will be closed to traffic.
Sabres fans heading downtown Monday night will want to bundle up. A mix of snow and rain expected late Monday morning should clear out by tonight's party and game time. However, the high temperature will only be in the upper 30's, and by Monday night will drop into the lower 30's.
