Buffalo, NY – The white flight of the mid 20th century began a downward spiral for Buffalo. People left the city core in droves and headed to the suburbs. That left the city with fewer resources and more crime. But the definition of sprawl is changing. Now, some of the inner-ring suburbs are seeing the some of the same problems the city has creeping in.

For this Monday's Roundtable, Bruce Andriatch joins WBFO's Joyce Kryszak for a candid discussion on urban sprawl. Andriatch says towns like Tonawanda, Cheektowaga and Amherst are no longer the big winners of sprawl.

Bruce Andriatch is the Suburban Editor and a columnist on suburban issues for the Buffalo News.
