Toboggan Chutes Draw Crowds at Chestnut Ridge Park

Buffalo, NY – Crowds packed Chestnut Ridge Park yesterday waiting to take their turns on the newly opened toboggan chutes.

The reconstructed chutes were built in the 1930's and had fallen into disrepair over the past number of years. The refurbishing cost nearly two hundred thousand dollars.

The chutes will be open on weekend days from ten AM until four PM, and on Friday evenings from four until eight. At least for now, you must bring your own toboggan.
