Brown's Landslide Victory Attributed to Strong Turnout of Inner-City Voters

Buffalo, NY – Mayor Byron Brown was re-elected to another four years in office on Tuesday due to a strong turnout of voters who live on the city's East Side.

The turnout in the mayoral primary was higher than usual -- about a third of all registered Democrats in the city voted. Bob McCarthy is political reporter for the Buffalo News. He joins us on the phone for some post-primary analysis.
