Buffalo, NY – A meeting to discuss the recent allegations of hazing sexual abuse among Wilson high school baseball players was held at the school Thursday night. More than 600 people were in attendance.
Many spoke out in support of baseball coaches Thomas Baia and William Atlas, who were arrested this week. They are currently suspended from their coaching duties and teaching jobs. Three students have also been arrested.
But there were criticisms that not enough information has been provided by the district. Police say some information is being withheld because of the ongoing criminal investigation into the case.
