Buffalo, NY – Social justice advocates have gathered in Buffalo for a two-day conference that will explore ways of promoting economic justice at the local level.
A living wage, reducing poverty and inequality and promoting open decision-making are just some of the topics people will be discussing over the next two days.
Allison Duwe of the Coalition for Economic Justice is one of the organizers of the conference. She joined us on the phone to talk more about what it hope to accomplish.
"The High Road Runs Through the City: Advocating for Economic Justice at the Local Level" is taking place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel downtown.
