Beyond the Playbook: New Era Field has been a home away from home for the Patriots

The New England Patriots have made themselves at home in Orchard Park in recent years. Analyst Matt Sabuda cites a laundry list  of startling statistics highlighting the Patriots dominance at the home stadium of the Buffalo Bills.  Sabuda points out that Bill Belichick has 15 wins in Orchard Park as the Patriots coach. None of the Bills full-season head coaches of this century--Gregg Williams, Mike Mularkey, Dick Jauron, Chan Gailey, Doug Marrone and Rex Ryan--had as many wins at New Era Field.

A graduate of St. Mary's of the Lake School, St. Francis High School, and Buffalo State College, Jay has worked most of his professional career in Buffalo. Outside of public media, he continues in longstanding roles as the public address announcer for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League and as play-by-play voice of Canisius College basketball.
