Opera-Lytes presents Franz Lehar's beloved operetta "The Merry Widow" for three performances: Friday, June 6 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, June 7 at 3:00 pm; and Sunday, June 8 at 2 pm. The Saturday performance includes a champagne gala and special guest soloists (to be announced), celebrating Opera-Lytes's 30th anniversary season. "The Merry Widow" stars Holly Bewlay as Hanna Glawari, Timothy Lane as Count Danilo, Liz Klimek as Valencienne, Christopher Castleman as Camille de Rosillon, Ken Schlimgen as Baron Zeta, and Bohdan Djeneka as Njegus. The production is fully staged with a 16-member chorus and a chamber orchestra, led by Ted Smeltz.
