Aurora Players presents: The Miracle Worker by William Gibson (Story of Helen Keller and her teacher Annie Sullivan)

A timeless classic of American theatre, The Miracle Worker tells the inspirational and true story of Annie Sullivan, a spirited and relentless young woman who managed to break through considerable barriers to reach young Helen Keller, a child left blind and deaf after an early childhood illness. Through Annie’s unwavering dedication and ingenuity, Helen discovers the power of communication, forever changing both their lives and the lives of Helen’s family. This Tony Award-winning play is a moving story of resilience and determination. Opening 3/28 and running Fridays/Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 2:30 in the heart of the Village of East Aurora for three weekends. Tickets are $16 for students; $18 for seniors and $20 general admission.
