Good morning, I'm Leila Fadel. The adventures of Middle Earth will soon continue in theaters. Andy Serkis, the actor who portrayed Gollum, the tormented creature obsessed with the one ring to rule them all, will reprise the role in two new films centered around the character. This time Serkis will direct as well. The first film, tentatively titled "Lord Of The Rings: The Hunt For Gollum," is scheduled for a 2026 release. Yes, precious.
