Buffalo, NY – The conference center at UB's Law School has been named after two well-known personal injury attorneys in Buffalo lawyers.
Ross Cellino and Stephen Barnes appeared at the school on UB's north campus last night for a dedication. The school named it's 5th floor conference center the "Cellino and Barnes Conference Center".
The firm ade a significant contribution in 2009 of one million dollars and remain loyal to the law school. Law school vice dean Alan Carrel said Cellino and Barnes remain dedicated to the law school and community.
"They've done a lot of wonderful things. They also, in addition to the money they gave us every year they give $200,000 to various charities within Western New York. They give a $100,000 a year in scholarships to high school seniors that are going to be going to college next year and they give $45,000 to 180 different elementary schools in Western New York," said Carrel.
Cellino and Barnes are both graduate of the UB Law school. The financial contributions were used to renovate parts of the UB law school and to enhance the school's curriculum.
