Former West Seneca inspector the subject of federal investigators

By Chris Jamele

Buffalo, NY – The FBI is re-opening an investigation into the dealings of former West Seneca building inspector William Czuprynski.

Czuprynski was forced out of his long time position after town officials became aware of the inspector's history of using his position to influence deals with homeowners.

The Buffalo News reports that an earlier investigation by the FBI did not result in charges. This new investigation began after new information surfaced.

Czuprynski had been working in the town as an inspector since 1973.
