Buffalo, NY – Plans are under way for this year's 18th annual Gus Macker Tournament. The City and key sponsors announced that the three-on-three charity basketball tournament will be held in downtown Buffalo June 27 and 28th.
It is hosted by the Buffalo Police Athletic League and Kids Escaping Drugs. This year's title sponsor is Buffalo Bills corner back Terrence McGee. McGee says he is thrilled to be a part of this year's Gus Macker.
"I'm just real happy to be a part of it. I know it is really helping the Police Athletic League and Kids Escaping drugs," said McGee
McGee's teammate, Marshawn Lynch, will also be joining him for the event. Last year more than 40,000 people attended the event in downtown Buffalo. Organizers say the Buffalo's Gus Macker is now the biggest in the nation.
