Buffalo, NY – Sabres defenseman Brian Campbell was traded to the San Jose Sharks yesterday.
In exchange, the Sabres picked up right wing Steve Bernier and a first-round pick in this year's draft. Campbell rejected a three year contract deal with the Sabres. That's when talks broke off.
