Cancer Patients Invited to Learn More about "Chemo Brain"

By Joyce Kryszak

Buffalo, NY – Living with cancer is a difficult challenge for patients and their families. Surgeries, treatments and coping with the uncertainties of the future are only some of the daily battles. But there is another side-effect of cancer and its treatment that some patients may not even be aware of.

"Chemo Brain" is a debilitating condition that affects many, if not most patients. This Thursday, the cancer support agency Gilda's Club of Western New York will present information on "Chemo Brain."

WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with the presenters for the event. Click the "listen" icon above to hear the interview now or use your podcasting software to download it to your computer or iPod.
