Buffalo, NY – City school officials are reacting to several violent incidents at Lafayette High School this week. Schools Superintendent James Williams is promising to get to the bottom of why such violence is occurring. At one time, there was a program at the University at Buffalo that counseled suspended students accused of violent behavior. It was cut because of the loss of funding.
Dr. Lawrence Shulman, a professor of Social Work, ran the UB program. He talked with WBFO's Mark Scott about the current violence problem.
