Father Pushing for Penny's Law

Albany, NY – The father of Penny Brown is among the advocates who will lobby for the passage of "Penny's Law" in Albany on Monday.

Penny's Law would allow juveniles convicted of murder as adults to be sentenced as adults.

Brown was raped and strangled while jogging in Salamanca by a fifteen year-old on Mother's Day of 1999. Edward Kindt was convicted but was sentenced to nine years to life in prison due to his age.
