William L Gaiter Parkway Stewardship and Community Tree Planting Project
The William L. Gaiter Parkway Stewardship and Community Tree Planting Project goal is to enhance the Eastside community by cleaning up and reaching the goal of planting 100 new trees in the community by end of 2024. Volunteers will meet at the corner of Norfolk Avenue and East Delavan Avenue (1056 E. Delavan Ave., opposite Peace Prints of WNY) to participate in stewardship activities along the WLG Parkway. Tools and supplies will be provided by the Tool Library. You are welcome to bring your own. This yearly initiative focuses on greening the neighborhood and fostering community involvement in the beautification of their surroundings.
