Buffalo, NY – There has been no measurable snow in the immediate Buffalo region this fall. According to the National Weather Service, the snowless streak has reached 234 days -- the fourth longest since 1884, when records began being kept.
The longest streak was recorded in 1946 and reached 277 days.
It's extemely unlikely that record will be broken this year. Our stretch of unseasonably mild temperatures in the 50s is over for now. High temperatures in the coming week won't get out of the lower to mid 40s. And there is a chance of snow on some days.
