Anti-War Groups Seek Information on FBI Monitoring

By Mark Scott

Buffalo, NY – The New York Civil Liberties Union and more than a dozen political and religious groups are seeking information on whether the FBI and other law enforcement agencies are spying on them.

The NYCLU filed Freedom of Information requests on behalf of itself and 13 groups to determine if they've been spied on by police and FBI agents. Among the groups in Buffalo who are part of this are the Buffalo War Resisters League and the Western New York Peace Center.

Colin Eager is director of the Western New York Peace Center. He talked with WBFO's Mark Scott. Click the "listen" icon above to hear their conversation now or use your podcasting software to download it to your computer or iPod.
