By Mark Scott

Buffalo, NY – It's Election Day 2005. Tuesday's marquee race is the one for Buffalo mayor.

There are four candidates running for mayor led by major party hopefuls Byron Brown and Kevin Helfer. Brown hopes to become Buffalo first African-American mayor. Helfer would like to be the first Republican to be elected mayor since 1961.

Political Science Professor Michael Haselswerdt of Canisius College joins WBFO's Mark Scott to discuss the mayoral race. Click the "listen" icon above to hear their conversation now or use your podcasting software to download it to your computer or iPod.
