Buffalo, NY – A proposal to merge the city of Buffalo and Erie County is on the back-burner because of the county's budget crisis. But WBFO's Bert Gambini is using this April 1st to resurrect the merger idea.

His proposal will be sent to the Erie County Legislature Friday, so that it will be officially clocked in as being delivered on "April 1st."
